We are so happy to present, yet another spectacular foal out of our beloved Rosentanz. At the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society recent inspection held at the beautiful October Hill Farm in Weatherford, TX, Sebastian Rohde deemed Sir Reginald WOR a stallion prospect. At 15 months old, Reggie is a breathtakingly beautiful colt standing almost 15 hands. He has an incredible type, three beautiful gaits with a particularly stunning trot. Reggie is by Sir Gregory out of our champion mare, Rosentanz (See Rosentanz’s page for all of her accomplishments). Sir Gregory is known for producing offspring of high quality, and great character. We were so thrilled with our last breeding with Sir Gregory to Rosentanz’s full sister, Weisenblume WOR, that we decided to breed to him again! You can read more about Sir Gregory here.
At Wild Oaks Ranch our goal is to breed horses with talent, temperament, and trainability…and Reggie certainly fits the bill. This horse has an incredible pedigree for dressage…double Donnerhall, Rubenstein, Weltmeyer, and has interesting blood going back to Bolero and Grunewald. This stunning colt is for sale to the right owner who will bring him along as a stallion prospect. Video coming shortly. Please contact Jackie Nixon-Fulton for more information.
Some horses and riders are just meant for each other, and that is the way it is with Benny and Walberto (aka, Bert). It has been a circuitous route, and a bit of a bumpy road, but now Bert officially belongs to Benny. I am so happy with the amazing job that Benny has done with Bert over the last almost 4 years, and will be happily watching their future progress. Good luck, Benny and Bert! Love you both!
Congratulations to Felix Duerr, DVM, of Ft Collins, CO, on the purchase of two of our outstanding offspring: Royal Ramses WOR, 3 y/o Hanoverian gelding by Royal Prince out of SPS Whitney and Soleado, by Sir Gregory, yearling Oldenburg colt, out of my fabulous mare, Wiesenblume. Felix knew Sarah and Prada in Colorado and was impressed with her beautiful mare. I am honored that he chose two of our boys. We look forward to following their progress. Good luck!
Looking for your future FEI partner? Check out Ruidoso! Rio is a powerful yet elegant, black/brown, 16.3, 2009 Hanoverian gelding by Rousseau out of a Wolkentanz I/ Grunewald mare. He has been correctly started and brought along by talented rider, Benjamin Pfabe. Rio is a seasoned show horse with scores into the mid 70’s. He and Benny were Region 9 First level Champions in 2015. Rio has really progressed in Florida this season… perfecting his flying changes, working on half-steps and showing real talent for piaffe/passage. His collected canter is a highlight and pirouettes will be no problem! He is changing rapidly; improving and getting stronger daily. With his great work ethic and desire to please, the FEI ring is not far off. He is suitable for a young professional, young rider, or a competent amateur. A good match is a must! Rio has clean X-rays and has no health or soundness issues. He can be seen in Wellington until first of April, then will be heading back in Texas. Price reduced to $95,000. Wild Oaks Ranch is excited to offer Soleado (aka Sunny) for sale. This spectacular colt is the 2015 son of Dreamscape Farm’s Sir Gregory (Sir Donnerhall x Don Gregory) and our beautiful mare, Wiesenblume (Rosenthal x Wolkentanz I). He will undoubtedly be a star!
Sunny is by far the easiest colt to handle that we have ever had. He is sweet natured and likes attention. He is brave and confident. On top of all that he is an EXCEPTIONAL mover with fluid, lofty gaits, great front-end expression and a hind end to match. You can’t take your eyes off of him. The video below really doesn’t do him justice. He will probably mature to 16.2 hh. Unfortunatley, we were unable to attend an inspection this year, but he will be registered GOV with the Oldenburg Horse Breeder’s Society of North America.
His sire, Sir Gregory, has been the leading sire of premium foals for the GOV since 2011, and is approved for breeding with 10 different registries. I chose Sir Gregory because of his character, temperament, movement, and work ethic, as described by his trainer, David Blake. Sunny is the product of embryo transfer, since his dam is my up and coming personal dressage horse. Wiesenblume is the most strikingly beautiful, affectionate, tractable mare I have bred. She makes me smile! At her very first dressage show as a 4 y/o with Benjamin Pfabe on board in 2014, she won her Training Level tests with scores of 80+% and 79+%.
We are so impressed with the Sir Gregory offspring that we bred our champion mare, Rosentanz, to Sir Gregory for a 2016 foal, and plan to breed our mare SPS Whitney to him this year.
I feel confident that when Soleado is presented for inspection in 2016 he will be considered a stallion prospect, and would like to sell him to a home that will want to keep him a stallion. $25,000.
Westeros is a 2014 Oldenburg colt by the Dutch stallion, Harmony’s Wamberto, out of our champion mare, Rosentanz (Rosenthal/ Wolkentanz I). Westeros is a beautiful type with 3 excellent gaits, and should mature 16.3 to 17 h. He has not been gelded yet as he has been super easy to handle. He is friendly and loves attention without being “in your face”. If you are looking for a top dressage prospect, look no further! He is sure to turn heads!
His sire, Wamberto, was the Champion of the 2006 KWPN Stallion Show. After importation to the U.S., he became Champion of the 2007 100-Day Stallion Performance Test, winning by an impressive margin. His overall performance index was 158.78, more than 20 points ahead of the next finisher. With a dressage index of 168.87 and a jumping index of 145.15, Wamberto clearly demonstrated his versatility and outstanding athletic ability. He earned perfect 10’s for his character and canter, and 8’s and 9’s for his walk, trot, and rideability. Wamberto’s sire, Rousseau, was the 2003 Silver Medalist of the WBCYH and is widely thought of as one of the best-producing stallions in the world. Wamberto’s damsire, Voltaire, is world-renowned, both as a Grand Prix jumper himself and also as the sire of many international performers and influential stallions. Westeros’s dam, Rosentanz, (Rosenthal x Wolkentanz I) was 2009 USDF Training Level HOY with rider, Jessica Jo Tate. The duo achieved one of the highest median scores ever… 79+%. In addition, Rose was a regional and national champion in breed shows. Rosentanz’s sire, Rosenthal, has been a top producer of premium foals and performance horses. The R-line is known for their trainability and rideability. Westeros’s full brother, Walberto, is an extraordinary horse with international quality movement. At 7 weeks old he was a Champion colt at Proud Meadows Breed Show, and in his first season of competition in Florida last year, he was the high score of the Global Dressage Festival with a score of 78+% at first level. At 7 y/o Walberto is showing great talent for piaffe/passage and collection and has a tremendous canter. We were so happy with Walberto’s type and movement that we rebred Rose to Wamberto, and we are once again thrilled with the cross!
With his excellent conformation, character, and winning bloodlines, we expect great things from Westeros, and would like to see him go to a show home. Contact Jackie Nixon-Fulton at jackie.wildoaksranch@gmail.com or Sarah Fulton-Smith at sarahfultonsmith@gmail.com $15,000.

Wild Oaks Ranch is so proud of trainer, Benjamin Pfabe, and our homebred, Ruidoso WOR for winning the Region 9 First level Championships. Benny rode a beautiful, fluid, test. I was so impressed with the beautiful steady contact. The tricky part was maneuvering the counter canter work as Rio has been working on the flying changes, but Benny rode it tactfully. Ruidoso is by Rousseau out of Wiesentanz and is half brother to our champion mare, Rosentanz, who was Training level HOY. Congratulations, Benny! Job well done
First level Regional Champions: Benjamin Pfabe and Ruidoso WOR
Our first foal of 2015 is a stunning colt by Sir Gregory out of Wiesenblume (aka Flora). We have had some really sweet foals, but I am so impressed with how easy and people oriented this little guy is. Soleado (which means “Sunny”) has it all! This is Sunny at 3 weeks of age.
